Digital Design Associate - Beauty

A top luxury beauty client is seeking a Freelance Digital Design Associate to join their team in NYC! This is a 3 month contract role that is hybrid.
Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with sales and marketing to create promotional material, brand page updates, and gift with purchase (GWP) compositions.
• Concept and design assets for 360 campaigns, including emails, ads, social content, blog posts, promotional content, etc.
• Partner with the PR team to design Seasonal Launch one sheets to be distributed to beauty editors.
• Design ad units to accompany feature articles on sites like Goop, Vogue, Who What Wear, and more.
• Design assets for the website, including homepage banners, blog posts, site modifications, and various pages as needed.
• Collaborate with the social media manager to create social assets: page posts, Instagram stories, animations/gifs.
• Collaborate with the video team to develop social ads and videos for the website that align stylistically with all digital assets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, specifically in digital design; experience in luxury, fashion, and retail brands preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related.
• Fluent in mobile first design.
• Up to date on the latest digital design trends, and desktop and mobile industry standards.
• Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively across multiple teams as well as independently.
• HTML and CSS experience is a plus.
• Capable of basic photoshop animations.
• Experience with online media, social networks, and digital trends.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and After Effects is a must.
• Strong typography skills are a must.
