Job Description
Principal Accountabilities


  • Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail.
  • Constantly strive for better, more innovative solutions across media channels.
  • Partner closely with other inter-disciplinary creative teams.
  • Lead pre and postproduction and be on set to oversee production process of digital assets and content.
  • Understand paid social data insights in order to pivot and evolve creative.
  • Proactively track trends in culture, design, user experience, and social media.
  • Bring creative innovation to MAC’s digital and retailer.com ecosystem.
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing and Commercial to fill business needs.
  • Must be active on all social media platforms and have a strong understanding of the social experience across key platforms TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, and familiar with other regionally relevant/specific platforms such as but not limited to Douyin, WeChat, Little Red Book, and Weibo.
  • Research and analyze industry trends and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and creative techniques.
  • Lead the design and creative of paid social + digital assets to support collection and brand launches.
  • Be able to create beautiful presentation decks and present to Executive Leadership.
  • Create awe-inspiring, creative content/campaigns that resonates with target audiences.
  • Conceptualize and execute 360 digital activations for M·A·C’s global programs, adhering to M·A·C’s global brand standards with an emphasis on paid social.
  • Ability to handle more than one assignment at a time across the brand and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Maintain the brand tone of voice and aesthetics.


Qualifications


POSITIONS REQUIREMENTS:


  • This position is based in the New York Metropolitan Area with the ability to travel and attend photo shoots as needed
  • Understanding of all current trends; global fashion, beauty, design, art, music and culture
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and turn around superior creative work in extremely limited timelines
  • Fluent in computer programs including, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote and PowerPoint
  • BA or BFA required
  • 5+ years of work-related experience
  • Ability to work comfortably with a variety of people across various disciplines
  • Is self-motivated and resourceful with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to interpret, and action against paid marketing and social analytics data
  • Understanding of paid social platforms and the creative outlets required to activate optimize them
  • Excellent typographic skills
  • Knowledge and practice of filmmaking, animation, writing is a plus
  • Understanding of online and social media design
  • Agency experience is a plus


The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
