SUMMARY:
Ducati North America (DNA) is seeking a motivated Aftersales Coordinator to support our Commercial Aftersales business and sales objectives. You'll play a key role in supporting the entire Aftersales team. Your expertise in Aftersales, product knowledge, and customer satisfaction will contribute to our overall success. By becoming an Aftersales Coordinator within our team, you'll have the chance to positively impact the growth of our Commercial Aftersales business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following outlines the core responsibilities that management associates with this position, but it is not an exhaustive list of tasks that may be required. Management can assign or adjust responsibilities for this role as needed while also considering reasonable accommodations and other relevant factors.
- Administer the purchase order process for the CAS department
- Provide support to DNA dealerships and assist them to achieve retail sales growth and client satisfaction
- Implement visual merchandising strategies and ensure proper placement and display of products according to Corporate Identity guidelines
- Help coordinate the SuMisura program (Ducati's Custom Race Suit offerings) through awareness and dealer training
- Analyze competition and market trends and identify sales opportunities
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Apply effective Aftersales business strategies to support the sales team to assist in driving growth and increase awareness for Apparel, Accessories, and Spare Parts
- Support the National Sales Director, Aftersales Manager, and Regional Business Managers in -DNA Commercial Aftersales (CAS) wholesale for the North American market (USA, Canada, Mexico)
- Possible travel to dealerships and industry-related events, both domestically and possibly internationally
- Maximize effective communication of visual presentation standards, procedures, and product knowledge to convey best practices to dealers
- Create compelling PowerPoint presentations for the CAS team
- Manage company showroom and event inventory
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passionate with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Strong computer skills – a strong focus on MS Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Hybrid environment, 3 days per week at DNA headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA
- Experience with ERP system is preferred (Oracle or SAP)
- Strong knowledge of motorcycle apparel trends, styles, and brands
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Sales background or merchandising background preferred
- It is desirable for the person filling this position to have motorcycle riding experience in the area of Ducati or competitive motorcycles and apparel
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of industry wholesale and/ or dealership experience strongly preferred
- Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
- Experience with prioritizing multiple projects with different development times
We offer a pay range for this position of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour + bonus opportunity and our very generous benefits package. This pay range may be adjusted for certain geographies, based on local labor costs. If you are hired at Ducati North America, your final hourly rate will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and depth of experience.
