Note: This is an onsite position based out of our Sorrento Valley campus.

Job Summary:


The HR Coordinator is an integral part of the HR Team and will provide support to Talent Acquisition and HR operations along with a variety of employee events and initiatives, and other administrative duties. He or she will also help maintain our Top Workplace culture and environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Recruiting / Candidate Experience


  • Assist with posting job openings, sourcing, and screening resumes, and conducting reference checks
  • Create a high touch "best in class" candidate experience
  • Support recruiting team with scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates in a professional and timely manner to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  • Ensuring all candidate information is accurate and up to date within applicant tracking system


Human Resources / Employee Experience


  • Manage the new hire data entry process for employees in HRIS
  • Send new hire notification emails and ensure all onboarding/offboarding tasks are completed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Participate in planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, all-company meetings, employee recognition or holiday events and parties
  • Assist team with new hire onboarding tasks including pre-employment paperwork, background checks, I-9 verifications, and first day new employee activities
  • Assist in upkeep of company social media pages (Intranet, events calendar, LinkedIn postings, etc)


Education and Experience requirements:


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • General knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
  • A flexible, can-do attitude
  • Effective interpersonal/ written/ verbal communication skills and relationship management
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred plus 1+ years relevant work experience
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
  • Experience scheduling interviews/meetings using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams, including scheduling across multiple time zones.
  • Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities


Pay & Benefits:


The hourly pay for this position ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 depending on relevant skills, experience, and education. In addition, this position is eligible for target bonus, long-term-incentives, 401k retirement savings plan with company match, and a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
