Since our founding in 2009, we have acquired over 60 companies and have expanded to more than 400 locations serving 37 states. US LBM is a dynamic organization that promotes an outstanding culture that focuses on the value of its customers and associates. Developing our people is critical to our strategy and encouraging our culture of empowerment.

The Rebate Manager collaborates with US LBM Supply Chain and Operational leadership to accurately administer and track supplier rebate programs. The Rebate Manager contributes to the success of US LBM by managing a team of rebate analysts, analyzing complex data to develop accurate rebate income receivables, rebate tracking tools, forecasting, allocations, and, eventually, supplier invoicing. This is a fully remote role.

Things you should know about working at US LBM:

  • We are in a relaxed atmosphere; this is not a suit-and-tie environment.
  • We support each other. We have local and corporate team members to help you along the way and partner on projects as appropriate.
  • We work hard. We are a continuous improvement-driven organization, and we are focused on keeping organized and on task.

How you will spend your days as a Rebate Manager:

  • Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follow all safety procedures; maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • The rebate team is also responsible for working with the US LBM Finance team to properly code rebate allocations to operating companies.
  • Prepares summary reporting for US LBM and Operating Company leadership; reports to include rebates accruals, discount tracking, forecasts, and rebate payment audits.
  • Analyzes purchased goods for rebate performance and contribution enhancement opportunities.
  • Manage a team of rebate analysts.
  • Establishes contact and maintains communications with appropriate supplier representatives and internal divisional stakeholders.
  • Partners with the US LBM Category Management team to understand supplier programs, expectations, and relevant data.
  • The rebate team will develop and launch a process and tools enabling USLBM to proactively invoice suppliers for rebate payments on quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly cycles.
  • Will act as Subject Matter Expert on rebates to all stakeholders and help drive execution of future state rebate management system/solution.
  • Performs mining, collecting, and categorizing spending data from disparate systems and sources for interpretation using analytical tools.

We offer…

  • Employee discount
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Closed holidays
  • Relocation
  • Paid time off
  • Monday - Friday schedule
  • Health care benefits, starting the first of the month after 30 days of employment

We want you to join the team if you can check these boxes:

  • Understanding of contracts and terms of purchase.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Accounting, finance, statistics, math) or equivalent in work experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Knowledge and skill to organize, plan, manage, execute, and evaluate projects.
  • A high degree of interpersonal communication for negotiation.
  • Physical demands include sitting for extended periods, standing and walking, bending or stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 occasionally.
  • Competency in extracting and manipulating computer data for the preparation of reports.
  • Strong knowledge of the building material industry to support Supply Chain objectives.
