Account Manager - Oem (Remote)

Danfoss, a global market leader in Climate and Power Solutions, has an opening for an OEM Focused Account Manager within our Danfoss Climate Solution Group.
The primary function of this role is to generate sales within the OEM market segment. Through direct engagement with small/mid-sized customers, the candidate will develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships and maximize sales to assigned accounts. This position requires travel throughout the defined region and will be based out of a home office.
We are looking for a remote employee located either in the Midwest or Great Lakes area.
Job Responsibilities
Critical Tasks/Responsibilities

• Improve Danfoss brand and product awareness within the region
• Gain a deep understanding of customer applications and become proficient at applying Danfoss products to their applications.
• Work to strengthen the Danfoss-Customer relationship
• Formulate an action plan to grow profitable sales across all Climate Solutions portfolios.
• Provide technical and sales support to defined accounts within the sales region.
• Seek opportunities to increase penetration at existing OEM accounts while identifying prospects for new opportunities.

Basic Minimum Skills Required

• Stable job history that demonstrates a solid track record of performance.
• Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, etc..
• Polished, confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic problem solver with ability to work independently
• Bachelor’s degree or Vocational/Technical school degree with equivalent HVACR technical background
• Travel – 30% within sales region
• 5+ years of industry related experience in technical sales position
• Strong communication skills with ability to connect with management, technical and non-technical people
