INEOS has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join one of our Ineos businesses at our Columbus, OH office.

Job Objective

The Finance Manager is a senior-level leader role and has responsibility for all accounting aspects of the business, both in terms of transactional processing and reporting, and also regarding internal controls. The role is also responsible for all GST/Intrastat/HFM reporting for the business.

The role will also play an important part in providing information and challenge to influence decision making and driving improvements across many different areas.

Additionally, the role is also responsible for credit management and accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

§ Lead financial and management accounting for the business.

§ Oversee daily management of cash and debt, forecast daily cash position, manage bank relationships, and analyze cash flow mechanism of the company.

§ Ensure financial results are prepared in accordance with the INEOS Group accounting manual.

§ Responsible for the provision of financial support to management team to fully explain results and variances to previous performance/plans/budgets, inform country / segment rollout priorities, and to monitor and control working capital, in order that management can make sound business decisions.

§ Develop messaging of results in monthly meetings and reports to INEOS Enterprise Board Members

§ Deliver timely, reliable, and accurate monthly performance reports for COGs, fixed costs and Capex.

§ Co-ordinate with the Management team to influence robust forward forecasting 5yr strategy and P&L, EBITDA and Cashflow processes for the business taking into account future forecast sales/margin/fixed costs information and forecast stock levels.

§ Lead the annual budgeting process for the business and assist in the consolidation of the Group results.

§ Responsible for IT coordination within the larger INEOS network

Qualifications:

§ B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or other appropriate discipline

§ Fully qualified accountant.

§ 10 years+ post-qualification management and financial accounting experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment

§ Detailed knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles, including Canada GAAP.

§ Experience in leading a team.

§ Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects is critical.

§ High level of technical accounting knowledge required.

§ Deep understanding of ERP / financial reporting tools

§ Understanding of other business processes (e.g. supply chain) and how these impact finance

§ Cash flow forecasting experience

§ Strong understanding of working capital.

§ Advanced Excel skills.

§ Advanced numeracy and analytical skills.
