About this Position

  • Guides the sales force, communicates sales goals to executive management, and coordinates sales efforts with various teams.
  • The General Foods Sales Manager for BAADER Food Systems USA, Inc. drives the sales process from plan to close.
  • Designs and implements a strategic sales plan to improve business relationships and generate new prospects in the US general foods industry.
  • Develops strategies for sales team success and executes the company's vision within the assigned territory and customer accounts.
  • Note that this is a remote position, however, extensive travel (up to 70%) is required
  • Analyzes budgets, establishes sales objectives, and advises executive management on selling prices.



Role

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Demonstrate excellence in customer service and communication.
  • Promote content quality and operational success of CRM software (Salesforce) for improved business relationships.
  • Meet with customers to discuss evolving needs and assess the quality of the business relationship.
  • Travel up to 3 weeks every month within the US.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, executive management, logistics, and technical service groups.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Attend sales meetings, present sales status, and set goals for territory and key account sales.
  • Manage and develop territory sales representatives to meet sales targets and KPIs.
  • Determine short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current programs.
  • Provide monthly market reports and relevant sales data to executive management.
  • Propose and implement a sales program with action plans for the US.
  • Assess territory sales effort, manage the sales program accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure availability of sales support material.
  • Support territory sales representatives in lead generation and deal closure.
  • Follow territory sales processes and take responsibility for projects.


Your Profile

Your Education & Work Experience

  • Track record of superior sales metrics.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology (preferably mechanical engineering or related discipline).
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM software applications.
  • 3+ years of proven and progressive technical sales experience in industrial equipment, managing a larger territory.
  • 8+ years of experience in a commercial position, preferably in the food or packaging industry.
