Job description:


Lead the business development of the wholesale business with a specific focus on the Key accounts and strategic contemporary accounts in the territory of the USA & CANADA. Develop competitive & relevant Key Account Plans by channel, account and gender.


Business Development

  • Identify and deliver new Accounts in alignment with agreed objectives.
  • Develop and drive joint key account plans for agreed on & offline key accounts with a scope of 1-3 years.
  • Lead the New York Showroom.
  • Prepare, define and execute together with Retail Marketing the annual & seasonal plans with selected partners.
  • Support in the Go To Market process and day to day business with the Agent Network.
  • Specify the business goals and strategies per key account, the tools and resources needed to secure and accelerate sustainable growth, all in alignment with the overall Camper strategic plan.
  • Strengthen and improve KPIs for the key account business area in the territory through tactical recommendations.
  • Continuous benchmarking activities through market and key account data analysis.


Building Commercial Relationships


  • Build a constructive and trustful relationship with account contacts by fully understanding the decision making process, account’s corporate objectives and strategies, financial performance and logistical process & deliveries.
  • Clearly articulate & summarise the key account needs within the territory to further grow the business and remove internal barriers to get things done.
  • Take the lead to deploy multi-functional Camper resources to deliver the agreed plans.
  • Has to be in charge of training agents every season with the arrival of the new collection, going to trade fairs with them, finding new independent clients and helping agents to connect with potential clients, who fit the brand.


Main geographical zone responsibility: USA & CANADA


  • Internal clients: Country Manager (CM), WHS Director, Customer service (CS), Consumer (C), Retail marketing (RM), and Finance (F) Agent Network.
  • External clients: On- & offline key accounts and strategic Independents in USA, Trade Shows.


Required:


  • Positive, can-do-attitude and hands-on mentality.
  • Well networked in the industry.
  • Studied to Degree Level.
  • Strong negotiator.
  • Fantastic organisation skills with a proactive approach.
  • IT Skills: Required: Excel, Powerpoint. Desirable: SAP, NuOrder, other inventory management systems.
  • Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience in the USA in Lifestyle Fashion & Footwear brands.
  • Willingness to travel 30%-40% of the time
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Affinity for footwear, fashion, lifestyle.
  • Have the relevant network within the contemporary and premium segment.
