SKILLS & COMPETENCES:

• Escalations to the proper channels
• Expert knowledge of QA best practices, robust analytical skills for both existing processes and identifying areas of opportunity
• Skilled communicator. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to business stakeholders.
• Identify right test automation strategy complimenting manual QA efforts and right tools.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders (internally and externally) to ensure the highest level of software quality.
• Drive team towards larger goals, with incremental improvements
• 16+ years of overall Software Quality Assurance experience such as Automation Testing and Manual Testing of software systems
• Extensive familiarity with quality assurance processes and procedures, and the ability to devise methods to enforce quality standards.
• Manage software testing resources (Recruit, train, allocate and monitor)
• Act as bridge between onsite & offshore team and facilitate offshore team with directions / inputs / clarifications.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills : decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability in the creation of quality standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Expertise with various types of Testing: Black box, GUI, Integration, Regression, Automation, Backend, System, End-to-End; User Acceptance Testing
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Responsible for automation initiatives for repeatable processes.
• Experience working with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
