Summary Description:
The Senior Digital Wholesale Manager will be responsible for driving growth, profit, development, and expansion across our Pure-Player channels. The role will be responsible for developing and expanding a best-in-class digital strategy for all partners. This leader will develop and execute sales driving initiatives for all US digital wholesale businesses with a key focus on Amazon.
Lacoste is looking for a digital wholesale expert who will be expected to create the strategies and tactics to drive growth and create a premium digital shopping experience with our wholesale partners. The ideal candidate is an innovative, highly analytical and KPI driven individual with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
This role will take over the existing digital wholesale business while also building and developing the department and team.
Reporting to the VP of Wholesale, this role will have 1-2 direct reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute and manage financial budgets, including sales plans, promotional budgets and advertising budgets. Negotiate annual vendor terms and manage vendor assistance budget.
- Conduct market appointments, presenting each season's collection, and making product recommendations based on specific business needs.
- Collaborate with marketing partners to drive sell through programs at the account.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build new go-to-market strategies and 360 support elements to maximize launches and brand potential tailored to our partners' needs.
- Manage all credit claims and issues to resolution.
- Manage, track and resolve all customer compliance issues regarding freight claims, charge-backs and shipping violations.
- Partner with VP of Wholesale and Finance to provide weekly shipping forecasts.
- Analyze historical data and trends to project demand and forecast replenishment stock needs.
- Drive account growth and profitability by assessing and building on areas of momentum; capitalize on product/pricing opportunities and course correct with innovative sales tactics to improve sales performance with account.
- Using strong business acumen and retail math abilities drive the top and bottom-line number for the account base.
- Develop and lead the implementation of a Dropship strategy with key wholesale partners and be the point-person for onboarding technical integration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop a Digital Wholesale Center of Excellence, to ensure all products on partner sites are optimized for a premium consumer experience: PDP pages, copy, content, catalog, purchase experience.
- Deliver on time reporting and forecasting for all required reports and documents to appropriate parties.
- Lead account management and sales driving initiatives for all wholesale pure player businesses (Amazon, asos, Zappos, Shopbop and more), acting as the business owner and main point of contact for cross-functional teams.
- Partner with digital accounts to identify key market trends and focus categories to drive growth category growth and development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Amazon Experience REQUIRED
- 4+ years’ experience in account management, online retail or sales planning
- Advanced Excel skills
- Retail Math and Sales Forecasting skills
- Leadership Skills with the ability to focus team members on key goals and objectives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, creative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience growing partnerships.
- Analytical mindset and KPI driven with a strong attention to detail.
