Wholesale Account Executive, Footwear

Job Summary/Purposes

The Account Executive, Women’s Footwear - PRADA, is responsible for supporting the Wholesale Merchandising team with account management for department stores and acting as the direct point of contact for all specialty stores.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate wholesale clients (i.e., department stores) orders to ensure a proper mix of products is ordered.
• Support in preparing seasonal qualitative and quantitative analysis for his/her accounts to be presented to the Italian Merchandising team.
• Communicate shipping information to clients, including the projected shipping flow, cap evaluation, and PO extensions.
• Collaborate with Headquarters Customer Services and Logistics teams to facilitate timely production and delivery to clients.
• Act as a team player, and work with the Wholesale Merchandising team to meet all department-wide objectives.
• Travel to department stores and independent clients to assist with product knowledge seminars and trunk shows, and any special events.
• Review and analyze retail sales information in order to capitalize on business opportunities through re-orders and future order evaluations.
• Assist in evaluating the competitive market. Develop an understanding seasonally of the pricing, design, and distribution strategy for competitive brands.

Requirements

• Frequent domestic travel required
• Bachelors Degree
• Strong presentation and organizational skills
• 3-5 years experience in sales or wholesale
• Skypad knowledge preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Powerpoint
• Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities
• Regular attendance and punctuality

The annual salary range for this position may vary from $70,000-$85,000, and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
