Job Description

We are seeking an experienced wellness manager who can work as the strategic business leader of a full-service spa and gym facility and oversee the company's overall customer service and sales results.
In this position, you will be accountable for the facility's daily operations, which will include managing the spa and gym team, creating and meeting the organization's budget and financial goals, providing high-quality service, putting a strategic plan into practice that includes marketing initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment, and leading a team to deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Perform any other duties/responsibilities not mentioned here or given by the management team
  • Ensure that all licensing and certification requirements are met in accordance with local and state regulations.
  • Ensure members receive the highest level of customer service; establish a luxurious and comfortable client experience.
  • Reporting daily on revenue generated across all services and retail.
  • Maintain very clean and high standards across all areas of the Spa, gym and wet spa areas
  • Manage and oversee the retail, inventory and professional ordering via accounts
  • Face to face communication with members is key and part of the role will involve greeting members, scheduling appointments and recommending treatments and wellness therapies.
  • Oversee pre-opening and then daily operations and performance of all areas within Spa and Gym.
  • Develop and integrate innovative wellness concepts, therapies and products.
  • Manage staff within the spa and gym department and ensure an in-depth knowledge of all procedures and services offered by the spa and gym are maintained and up to date.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of fitness and wellness revenue generating opportunities, build member relationships, and maintain consistent follow up with members.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the spa and wellness sector
  • Strong work ethic and effective leadership skills
  • The capacity to take initiative and make decisions
  • Understanding of expert spa services, treatments and class concepts
  • Motivating, energising, and energetic
  • Experience running large or unique spa concepts for more than 3-4 years
  • Great at providing client service and willing to go above and beyond
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Driven by targeted sales
  • Knowledge of gym and spa amenities maintenance procedures
  • Understanding of inventory management and retail operations
  • Efficient, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks at once
