We have an exciting career opportunity within our Consumer Brands division. We are seeking a Walmart Team, Senior Director of Sales. In this role you will be responsible for providing management and leadership for our largest client, delivering net sales, volume, and EBIT goals. You will lead a cross functional team of providing strategic direction, execution, and policy development for the Asian, Desserts and Pizza portfolios. This role is based in Bentonville, AR with some travel to corporate offices in Minneapolis, MN and will report to the VP of Sales.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver joint business planning activities, focused on enhancing the P&L and delivering true value to the customer.
- Travel: Approximately 10%
- Work effectively with HQ cross-functional business teams consisting of brand leaders, trade marketing, consumer insights, R&D and finance.
- Develop, communicate, and execute sound financial proposition and analysis aligned with the overall strategic plan.
- Establish strategic and tactical growth strategies and annual plans for our top retailer.
- Utilize expert negotiation skills, setting an example for your team on how to influence senior leaders at the customer, effectively getting to a commitment.
- Establish direct and measurable performance metrics for all aspects of assigned areas. Reviews and evaluates the sales performance on a continuing basis, executing action plans to correct issues and continually improve performance to achieve revenue objectives.
- Utilize shopper marketing and consumer trends to uncover and leverage new opportunities.
- Passionate leader of people: ability to develop bench talent, motivate and retain your cross functional team through hands on support, building trust and celebrating successes.
- Execute customer sales strategies/priorities, consistent with company operating strategy to generate brand growth and awareness with the customer vertically and horizontally.
- Ensure best in class project management to achieve company objectives, optimization/utilization of internal and external resources.
What we need from you:
- Thorough knowledge and experience in selling to VP+ in national accounts, with the development of marketing programs to support branded growth initiatives.
- 10+ years related experience in the CPG industry. Field sales required and preferably headquarter experience in marketing, trade, category, sales operations, etc.
- Ability to successfully navigate and lead a team within a highly matrixed company
- Demonstrated management skills with a track record of inspiring and retaining a team.
- You are a fierce market competitor with the discipline to engage in constructive conflict and blaze a tough-minded path towards excellence.
- Experience selling to Walmart preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- You lead teams with unrivaled performance by building trust, demonstrating emotional intelligence, and challenging assumptions with openness and curiosity.
- Excellent ability to develop strategy using top-notch analytical skills to influence decisions.
