Position Summary
e.l.f. Beauty is looking for a motivated, collaborative, Account Specialist to join our dynamic, high-growth company. Reporting to the Associate Director, this position is based in a remote office.
The Account Specialist will assist the sales team on bringing e.l.f. Cosmetics to life at Walmart US. The role supports all customer management functions and assists in the day-to-day customer relations, customer promotional planning, item set up, light analytics, in-store activations, assortment planning and more.
The ideal candidate is someone who embraces e.l.f.’s dynamic culture of executing with speed and quality to drive solutions. S/he needs to be a self-starter bringing at least 2-4+ years of relevant sales experience. The ideal hire will be someone who has demonstrable skills working effectively with both internal and external cross-functional partners while thriving in an entrepreneurial environment comfortable with collaboration across all parts of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Support Account Manager(s) to ensure smooth sales operations
- Provide administrative, clerical and customer support services
- Prepare and distribute monthly sales reports
- Sales reporting analysis to understand what’s working/not in assortment, tracking of new items, and endcap performance
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with decision-makers
- General administration support requests (sending samples, listing forms etc)
- Item setup and maintenance with retailers – costing, case packs, name updates
- Collaborate with all other members of the Sales team and cross-functional partners
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Ensure all customer requests for information are met in a timely manner
- Assortment and Planogram work
- In-Store merchandising updates
- Monitor and report on competitive brand launches and events
Requirements:
- Passion for beauty
- Retail Link experience, including Item360
- Demonstrates initiative, not afraid to troubleshoot on their own
- 2-4 years sales experience
- Fast learner, quick thinker
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Effective communication skills
- College or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar major
- Self motivated, goal oriented, desire to deliver results
- Strong computer and analytical skills. Specifically, Microsoft Office excel and powerpoint
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Team-oriented, responsive, passion to succeed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
