Sagemcom is hiring an Sales Director of Water – oversees, directs, and participates in all activities of the Water Operations Department, including short and long-term planning as well as being responsible for sales and revenue growth of chemical products, service agreements, control equipment and related services offered by Sagemcom to both an assigned customer base and an active prospect list.

This position will be involved in projects with our Energy Business Line Team in France and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate business relationships through networking and industry events.
- Ability to understand, learn, and represent the full suite of services that are offered.
- As a true organizer, you will manage the assembly of complete offers, with technical, commercial, contractual, and financial components.
- As a key player in our growth, you will lead sales actions for the development of our activities with existing and new customers to acquire opportunities tracking, presentation of our offers, and qualification of needs.
- Reports to VP, Business Development Director in Paris, France.
- Fine negotiator, you will lead commercial discussions and subsequently the development of the relationship with customers.
- Maintain awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing including specific reasons for winning and not winning work.
- By actively monitoring your market, you will identify the strategy that aligns with our quarterly goals, revenue targets, and exceeds our objectives.
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative, be self-driven, and drive business opportunities towards an outcome.
- Extensive knowledge of the water utilities' space working with boilers, cooling towers and HVAC equipment.
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud)
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant subject (environmental studies, business, economics, engineering, sciences, computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc.) required.
- Strong sales experience in Automatic Meter Infrastructure (AMI) in Energy or Water (Electricity preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant sales experience.
