How will this role have an impact?

The Vice President, Value Based Solutions Growth is a key member of the team with accountability to engage future clients in partnering with Signify Health on value-based care programs. The VP, Value Based Solutions - Growth is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships across different provider segments including community hospitals and physicians (and affiliated stakeholders/decision makers), independent hospitals, clinically integrated networks (CINs), integrated delivery networks (IDNs), large health systems, Independent Practice Association (IPAs), Physician Hospital Organizations (PHOs) and other potential healthcare customers, working closely with the Executive Vice President, Value Based Solutions Growth. In addition, this position may also be engaged in the sales of Value Based Care programs to Health Plans. This position, working in tandem with clinical, operations, IT, and project management teams, must achieve established sales goals by developing new business opportunities and implementing business development initiatives.
This position reports directly to the EVP, Value Based Solutions Growth.

What will you do?
Key Responsibilities Include

- Proactive outreach to potential clients through cold calling, conference attendance, client referrals, and partnering with marketing on outreach campaigns. Engage and create relationships with state, association, consultants and other key stakeholders to help drive the value proposition in the market.
- Achieve sales quota (published in the Sales Commission Plan).
- Working with marketing and the client success organization, execute accurate, powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the unique value proposition of Signify Health’s value-based care offerings.
- Have a solid working knowledge of all sales tools resources including but not limited to calculators, analytics demonstrations and utilize these tools in order to generate sales.
- Partner with Product, Technology and Operations on strategic roadmap and capability delivery that aligns with client needs and opportunities to unlock growth
- Research potential clients, identify their decision makers and build relationships with them. Establish meetings with those decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals, as needed.
- Responsible for entering and maintaining new lead, contact, account and opportunity data in our CRM system and for providing ongoing progress reports.
- In partnership with Marketing, identify high value conferences and events and actively participate in these events (including staffing booths) with a goal of a minimum of 10 viable client opportunities from each event
- Excellent communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Extensive healthcare experience selling to and managing relationships with payers and providers, particularly in value-based payment models
- A minimum of 15-20 years of relevant healthcare industry experience, with leadership and management experience as well as strong knowledge of value-based care programs
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred
- Ability to travel to address client-specific needs, with periods of greater and lesser travel
- Entrepreneurial mindset and skill set that can build for purpose, actualize and continuously improve in an operational environment
