The Vice President of E-commerce (VPE) will be responsible for Developing and articulating the overall vision, strategy, and capacity needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· This leader will establish the strategic direction for the area and build organizational structures and management processes to achieve the vision.
· Evaluates and recommends e-commerce investments & initiatives and leads the development of business cases and marketing plans.
- Works proactively and Partners with stakeholders across the organization to optimize digital channels. Prioritizes and plans technical projects for improvements to customer experience, new e-commerce features and offerings.
- Drives continuous improvement in all capabilities
- Defines and implements appropriate organizational models, partnerships, and governance processes
- Fosters and crafts an effective organization with the capabilities and talent needed to deliver on the strategic and operational commitments of the organization
- Balance day-to-day operations and execution of key projects with long-term strategic planning
- Identifies opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue using data and analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points.
- Develop and demonstrate lower cost labor models to support business demands.
- This role will report to the CIO.
- Manages senior executive relationships with key technology vendors and partners
Qualifications
· Minimum of 15 years’ experience with increasing responsibilities of management and support of information systems and technology
· Demonstrated experience in the selection, integration, implementation and maintenance of large company, multi-location, international Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems
· Understanding of retail, wholesale and/or distribution business model is preferred
· JD Edwards experience is required for this position
· Experience and exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of hardware, software, and communication systems
· Thorough understanding of computer hardware components and software technologies, including ERP, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and POS
· 8-10 years of WMS Application Development experience
· Demonstrated proficiency in process design and implementation
· Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical and interpersonal issues
· Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Business or Technical field from an accredited university required
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The Vice President of Information Technology role operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or exert force, up to 10 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderate. The visual acuity requirements include close vision

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime required
Travel requirements are anticipated for this position
