As VP, Commercial Transformation, you will partner with the Chief Commercial Officer to deliver on a broad set of transformation initiatives within the Commercial organization. You will be responsible for the delivery of the overall transformation program, including design and execution on go-to-market model changes, commercial systems planning and execution, and other strategic initiatives within the Commercial organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing program activities, overseeing the development and maintenance of initiative plans, day-to-day leadership of program initiatives, and regular reporting to Chief Commercial Officer, SVP Integrations, and broader ELT.


To Succeed In This Position, You Will


  • Understand strategic objectives and translate into the Commercial Transformation program plan
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and analyses as required
  • Partner with each functional leader within the commercial team to understand the strategic initiatives critical to achieving the desired operational end state for each stage of growth
  • Ensure appropriate initiative resources are in place
  • Partner with Finance to support the development of a transformation program business case and ongoing tracking of costs and benefits
  • Own the completion of the plans, with input from the functional leader
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Own all reporting on initiatives and program progress and report to the Chief Commercial Officer and SVP, Integrations
  • Identify and address dependencies and resource constraints
  • Own the identification and reporting of key performance metrics critical to understanding progress and risks to each plan
  • Lead the day-to-day execution of the transformation program
  • Ensure that project control mechanisms are adhered to
  • Lead program update discussions with Steering Committee and Executive Leadership Team


Requirements


  • High proficiency in program planning
  • Project management skills. Ability to create structure and organize work. Skilled at condensing details and identifying key takeaways and next steps
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience leading complex transformation programs within the Commercial domain
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills (PPT, presentation delivery); experience communicating clearly and concisely complex and / or difficult concepts to internal and external stakeholders and senior leaders
  • 15+ years of Commercial experience
  • Experience with M&A, systems integrations, process mapping or process workflow improvements a plus
  • Go-to-market design and implementation and pricing experience


Travel: 10%


Location: Remote. Though would have access to Norstella office space

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 - $300,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
