Location: Florida (Candidates must be willing to relocate to Tampa Bay area to be considered for this role)

Job Type: Full-Time, Fully Remote to Hybrid Role

*This will be a fully remote role until January 2024, Candidates will then return to office in Tampa, Florida in a hybrid basis.

Summary: A top international bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced to join their dynamic Trade Service Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Standby LC Section and providing operational support to other units within the department. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the section meets its daily processing requirements in line with department goals and service level agreements (SLAs). Your expertise in Standby Letters of Credit (LCs) and related products will be instrumental in supporting the firm's U.S. offices/branches.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage the Standby LC Section, ensuring timely and accurate processing in accordance with department goals and SLAs.

• Provide operational and technical support to all U.S. offices/branches.

• Oversee workflow management, quality control, and customer service to maintain high standards of service delivery.

• Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.

• Ensure proper reconciliation of all GL accounts, including liability and fee accruals, promptly escalating any aged or unreconciled items to management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of management and operational experience in Standby LCs.

• In-depth knowledge of Standby Letters of Credit, including Commodity LCs, Project Finance deals, CME, DPLOC, Fronting and Syndicated/Agent deals, facilities and commitments, credit and reimbursement agreements.

• Strong understanding of SBLC draft reviews, industry practices, and negotiation of wording to mitigate operational, reputational, and compliance risks.
