Key Responsibilities:
  • Devise a Training curriculum for finance on current processes as well as how we transition to future processes and technology
  • Make finance processes and technology more attractive to our talent
  • Improve forecasting and scenario modelling for forward looking insights
  • Partner closely across Finance (Controllers, Tax, Investor Relations, Treasury, Corporate Development, Business CFOs) to ensure connectivity across the full Finance team
  • Optimize the operating model to ensure resiliency
  • Use new data and tools to improve understanding, analytics and decision making
  • Increase data access to unlock information and insights
  • Support the migration of Forecasting and Analytics activities to state of the art strategic financial tools, unlocking greater functionality and insights
  • Make processes and data easier, faster, standard and connected while providing solutions for global needs
  • Strengthen the “university culture” of continuous learning
  • Facilitate access to Compensation associated expenses and cash flows
  • Understand the breadth of activities across finance, commonalities that can be centralized and in the most cost efficient work locations
  • Shift workforce capacity from manual consolidation to value added analytical activities,
  • Enable insights around profitability of LOBs, business unit, product, customer, deal and geography, enabling better decision-making and forward looking analytical capabilities
  • Modernize finance technology to unlock efficiencies and new capabilities while maintaining control and security
  • Lead projects independently and partner on key ad hoc strategic projects / analyses with various internal stakeholders
  • Enhance automation of controls, workflow, validations and variance analysis
  • Improve driver-based forecasting across products at a granular level to enable Product-based revenue, profitability and cash forecasting
  • Contribute to Cost attribution rules and engine, informing the enhanced profitability reporting
  • Leverage a Change Management Mindset in helping the team learn new skillsets and drive adoption of best in class processes and technology
  • Lead the Business Insights (Profitability and FP&A) Initiative within the Digital Transformation Roadmap and contribute to others workstreams including Revenue Automation, Books and Records, Expense Automation and Strategic Data as needed. Partner with consultants and collaborate across the finance teams to:
    • Increase data access to unlock information and insights

Technical/Functional:
  • Demonstrable experience with management reporting, budgeting, planning and forecasting, preferably in the financial services industry; experience with firm wide consolidation is a plus
  • Experience working in the Business or Partnering with the Business
  • Excellent analytical, financial and business management skills with deep understanding of P&L management
  • Strong leader with ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands
  • Outstanding ability to communicate and break down complex ideas into understandable and actionable messages
  • Deep understanding of Finance data flow and tools
  • Excellent presenter (written and verbal) who can clearly communicate to executive audiences

Experience:
  • 10+ years of applicable experience
  • CFA or MBA preferred
