With new state-of the-art offices in Scottsdale, AZ (Headquarters) and Chicago, IL – plus a growing presence in San Francisco – we’re entering our next big chapter. We focus all hiring efforts in a few states and within driving distance of an office location to enable in-person collaboration when and where possible. Priority hiring locations are Scottsdale, AZ, Illinois, NY tri-state metro area (New Jersey, New York and Connecticut) and San Francisco, CA. On exception we will hire in secondary locations such as District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. Overall Purpose
The Vice President, Paze® Marketing drives awareness and demand for Paze® with consumers, merchants and banks. This well-rounded payments marketing expert will be responsible for all aspects of marketing including brand marketing, product marketing, partner marketing, communications and corresponding campaigns across paid, owned and social media. This role will set the vision, tone, performance and culture for the Paze® marketing team and partners closely with Product, Sales, Finance, Legal, as well as external agencies and financial institutions. This position reports directly to the CMO with a dotted line to the Paze® Managing Director and is based in New York City.

Essential Functions
  • Owns and creates a consumer-insights approach that informs a differentiated go-to-market approach and strategy
  • Creates engaging and effective marketing campaigns using clear, compelling messaging to articulate the unique value proposition of Paze®
  • Champions the latest marketing trends and technologies in go-to-market efforts with a keen eye for ruthless prioritization
  • Analyzes program success and ROI and incorporates insights into future program planning
  • Builds and manages a high-performing team that is innovative, collaborative and results-oriented
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships at owner banks to effectively support and guide their Paze® marketing strategy
  • Apply data, analytics and insights to marketing to strengthen the growth funnel across paid, social media and partner channels
  • Supports the company’s commitment to risk management protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
  • Develops marketing strategy, goals and KPIs in alignment with business goals
  • Manages and prioritizes the efforts of internal teams and external agencies to ensure quality, on-time delivery of marketing programs across multiple channels
  • Oversees brand design efforts to ensure Paze® consumer brands have a vibrant, differentiated and impactful design and voice
  • Drives brand awareness, overseeing a multi-million-dollar budget spanning a wide range of advertising channels and partner marketing channels

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Prior experience working for a company with a strong, premium brand and a distinct culture.
  • 10 or more years of marketing or related experience with consumer brands and B2B2C brands
  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development or Marketing
  • Innovative and creative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into actionable and measurable plans, clear KPIs and business results
  • Background and drug screen
  • Strong record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies and building customer and partner relationships
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships and trust throughout all levels of the organization and with bank partners
  • Proven ability to persuade and sell strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders; experience managing diverse stakeholder feedback and negotiating to successful outcomes
  • Marketing thought leader with demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional teams and agencies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and implementing customer/partner trial and usage campaigns that lead to significant business outcomes
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred
  • Experience bringing new payments services and products to market, ideally in wallet and e-commerce spaces
  • Deep expertise in leading and managing creative brand and media agencies
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries and/or for a high-growth organization is a plus

The pay scale for this position in NY/CA in USD per year is:
a minimum of $280,000
a maximum of $300,000

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
