Overview of the Role:
TresVista is looking for a performance-driven, energetic business development professional to be a crucial part of our growing Global Sales and Client Engagement Team. The role will drive our Data Intelligence Group sales efforts to achieve revenue targets, identify opportunities for products and services in the industry, and establish long-term strategic partnerships.
Key Role Deliverables:
- Effectively use all available tools and methodologies, i.e., a CRM, phone, email, and other available tools and resources to track and provide solutions to client needs, requests, and manage overall expectations
- Generating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities through various sales activities including, but not limited to cold calling, client visits, participation in RFP's, attending networking or trade events, and utilization of candidate's network
- Developing a solid knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape and be able to articulate TresVista's value proposition effectively
- Tracking and managing leads through the appropriate stages of the sales funnel and logging all relevant customer activity, including but not limited to meetings, phone calls, and emails
- Maximizing sales team's potential, developing key growth strategies, tactics, and action plans, and presenting those plans to the executive team
- Leveraging the tools and platforms utilized by the Data Intelligence Group to understand how potential clients can employ these products/services to derive operational benefits and drive investment returns
- Working with support teams internally to develop processes for effectively tracking and reaching out to prospective clients and leveraging these teams to create new techniques that further the sales outreach effort
- Providing daily feedback and reporting on lead generation, prospecting, and opportunities, and developing knowledge of internal systems used to qualify and track communications with prospective clients
- Building familiarity with internal processes, products/services, contractual engagements, etc.
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's client base and achieves revenue targets
- Collaboration with Senior Management to help execute new initiatives and address existing/new markets and product opportunities
- Keeping abreast of market trends, key players, competitors, and industry jargon within the data analytics/A.I./machine learning space both domestically and globally
- Defining project scope and requirements while liaising with clients and the Data Intelligence Group to deliver customized business solutions
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create presentations and content to be used to pitch prospective clients
- Pitching key stakeholders at corporates across industries, financial services firms across asset classes, and other potential clients on the applicability of the Data Intelligence Group's products/services to their specific business use case
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Effectively use all available tools and methodologies, i.e., a CRM, phone, email, and other available tools and resources to track and provide solutions to client needs, requests, and manage overall expectations
- Available to travel frequently within the U.S. and to India when necessary
- Experience working in a related field at a corporate, financial services firm, or consulting firm in a strategy or analytics role (Preferred)
- The candidate should have the authorization to work in the United States legally
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power B.I., SQL programming, and other tools and technologies utilized in the data analytics domain (Preferred)
- Strong business sense, industry expertise, and broad-based knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
- Strong understanding of Data Analytics, Big Data, Machine Learning, A.I., and related fields of Data Intelligence (Mandatory)
- Strong leadership capability to develop inter-team communication and cohesiveness
- Impeccable integrity, analytical skills, and a strong work ethic
- Superior analytical and critical thinking skills, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Experience:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience
