GENERAL FUNCTION
The Field Sales Vice President for the Oakley/Costa Optical provides strategic and operational direction to maximize revenue and meet the short/long-range sales objectives for their sales team. The incumbent in this role is responsible for executing a comprehensive business strategy that develops solutions across customers in a rapidly changing market place. The incumbent in this role is responsible for being a part of the Optical leadership team in synergizing across a multitude of priorities that include brand focus, business development opportunities, customer segmentation strategy and broader Essilor Luxottica commercial programs. The individual is also responsible for leading and protecting the brand story telling and positioning of brands in the field. The incumbent in this role is responsible for driving team performance in attaining sales targets,. This individual is also responsible for controlling the budget and related expenses to achieve DOP targets for the Oakley and Costa brands

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partners with Brand Marketing in driving brand priorities and assortment across customers.
  • Partners closely with the business development team in forging strong relationships with top regional customers and key influencers from Buying Groups and Doctor Alliances.
  • Fosters strong communication of plans and initiatives within team to build a strong sense of unity.
  • Leverages key internal stakeholders to lead high-impact initiatives and business plans
  • Develops targets and drives performance for the team that aligns with forecasts of overall business.
  • Support the career development and management skills of team through ongoing training and developmental.
  • Developing talent to ensure the right profile is in place to ensure success in delivering sales goals and priorities.
  • Participates in all management meetings, conventions and on critical task forces to further key group objectives.
  • Supports team in launching commercial programs like EL360 and overseeing the program maintenance to ensure evolving needs of the customer.
  • Manages a sales team population (up to 100 inclusive of Sales leadership/Independent Contractors) responsible for 125 million dollars in annual revenue.
  • Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and comes up with strategies with team.
  • Provides input on all strategic sales plans and their implementation.
  • Identifies and develops plans to support key brand objectives such as image, productivity, RX growth. etc.
  • Responsible for implementing brand specific sales incentives for staff and accounts.
  • Strategizes among leadership team to drive synergistic brand strategies, rewards programs, and commercial initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 12+ years of sales management experience; with experience in building and motivating a high performance and accountable sales team
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
  • A change agent with highly evolved influencing skills
  • Outstanding commercial know-how and exceptional leadership capabilities
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working within wholesale channel of trade with many small independent customers
  • Optical industry experience

Pay Range: $227,211.00 - $321243 Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package Benefits/Incentive Information including health benefits, PTO, 401K, LTI, paid family leave, tuition reimbursement, and eyewear discounts.
