Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders & Quants to design and implement intelligent software. Elicit requirements for the software from Portfolio Managers/Platform Management/Investment Team, regularly communicating progress to the stake holders. Communicate and present complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences and working with a global team. Perform client and server-side Java development working with the web stack toolkit including Angular, Node,js, React or a related toolkits to design, develop and support a system that is high in resilience and scalability. Interact with clients and peer technology groups on diverse issues and/or queries. Write code and deploy the code to ensure that order placed is instructed to the downstream Execution Management systems and custodians. Engage in iterative and incremental demos and presentations to the business. Perform quality assurance (QA) testing and provide post go-live support. Perform daily support and maintenance of business processes and activities. Mentor/on-board more junior developers on the team.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field AND three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field AND five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Software Development Lifecycle, including interacting with end users to gather requirements, designing, and planning the application, building the application, engaging in Quality Assurance, and providing post go-live support; performing client and server-side Java development; and implementing continuous delivery and deployment process. Must have one (1) year of experience with: working with large (multiple feature sets and requirements) and complex code bases; developing system prototype and UX design to iterate with key stake holders; communicating project status (both verbally and in writing) across a global development team; and using Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Angular, SQL, Mongo and Mockito and Jasmine testing frameworks.

Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $170,000 - $250,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
