WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Technical Training & Development Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the success of our customers, partners and employees. Responsible for all aspects of the learning delivery process. This includes delivery of live in-person events, live virtual online events and creating source content/videos for eLearing equivalent courses. Excelling in this role involves extensively learning Tealium products, related technologies, processes, services and translating that understanding into educational experiences. The goal is to ensure learners acquire the knowledge and develop the skills needed to achieve professional and organizational success with Tealium products.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Training Delivery
  • Apply your technical acumen, knowledge and skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Marketing Technologies, Tag Management, Customer Data Hubs and similar technologies and industry knowledge to deliver technically accurate education.
  • Lead multiple forms of instruction to include Live in-person sessions delivered around the world and virtual online training using Zoom to deliver engaging remote training.
  • Bring enthusiasm and industry knowledge to articulate Tealium technology and marketing industry practices into easy to understand concepts. Utilize learning techniques that speed up the learning process.
  • Provide Train-the-Trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts, other departments and for Education team skills shares.
Training Development
  • Apply education best practices for curriculum development methodologies, Instructional Design, project management processes and adult learning practices, such as Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, Outcome Based ISD and Phillips & Kirkpatrick.
  • Contribute to course assessment, practicals, labs, and certification exam materials. This includes scenarios with multiple-choice and other item formats to use in testing Tealium knowledge.
  • Develop and manage updates to courseware and documentation to ensure be up to date with all releases of Tealium products.
  • Incorporate learning technology and adult learning theory to increase impact and offerings of training solutions (audio, video, interactions, simulations, role plays, games, etc).
  • Create and conduct basic editing of source videos to be used to create eLearning equivalent courses to the instructor-led versions.
  • Member of the Education team contributing to create engaging, interactive, impactful courses. This includes course analysis, evaluation, quizzes/exams, hands on labs and practicals, certifications, reviews and maintenance.
  • Support localization efforts to create multilingual variations of educational content.
Administrative & Operational
  • Facilitate process improvement & implement new processes and materials to continually refine and improve education services.
  • Update & maintain content library to ensure it is current and accurate.
  • Partner with internal stakeholder teams to ensure accuracy, consistency and timely dissemination of all information.
  • Project Manage and directly contribute to development of all types of learning resources (presentations, manuals, job aids, videos, etc.), and materials for classroom and online training; including the necessary storyboards, scripts, outlines, project plans, etc.
  • Review feedback and refine course materials based on feedback to support instructor and learner needs.
  • Deliver products on-time, with the highest possible standards, with minimal supervision and minimal defects.
  • Assist with the uploading and testing of content into the LMS.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop course specifications, gather course content, and develop materials.
  • Conduct interviews and learning assessments to identify knowledge and skills gaps to help define relevant training requirements for course improvements and new course development and custom/private training sessions.
  • Assist with managing education related support requests and tickets.
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
  • Skilled in the application of Instructional Design and adult learning best practices
  • Involved in Agile rapid development environments and quick turnaround of deliverables
  • Solid experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS & JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of eLearning technologies, such as authoring tools and design/development tools (ScreenFlow, Camtasia Articulate)Strong organization skills
  • Commitment to helping adults develop their skills
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years related work experience
  • Familiar with Digital Marketing technologies and best practices
  • Experience with LMS systems
  • Fanatical about Customer Service & Satisfaction with positive, team focused attitude
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Multilingual skills highly appreciated
  • Tealium, CDP, Martec, SaaS industry experienced preferred
  • Strong organization skills, with demonstrated project management abilities and excellent communication skills to convey concepts
In many U.S. states, employers are required to include a pay range for posted positions. Although this isn't a requirement in every state, communicating transparently is a cornerstone of our operations at Tealium, and we believe in making this information available to all applicants.
The U.S. pay range for this full-time position is listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for a robust benefits package that includes the following:
  • Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and are eligible to receive contributions for company matching.
  • Exempt CA employees (not including San Francisco) including NY : accrue 40 hours each year. Unused sick leave carries over into the next year. Employees cannot exceed 80 hours in a given year.
  • We offer 15 hours of paid work time for volunteer activities and programs.
  • We offer 11 paid holidays annually with an additional Healium Be-Well break for most employees.
  • Employees are eligible to receive stock options.
  • Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Our sick leave accrual is the following for our employees:
    • Exempt CA employees (not including San Francisco) including NY : accrue 40 hours each year. Unused sick leave carries over into the next year. Employees cannot exceed 80 hours in a given year.
    • Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.
    • Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.
  • Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.
  • Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.
  • Employees are eligible for unlimited paid time-off and extended paid parental leave.
