The FEP Claims Technical Support Specialist (TSS) facilitates continual process improvement within assigned team by conducting process audits and providing effective training. Delivers effective technical training to associates and serves as the primary point of contact for testing new processes; develops procedures and writes business requirement documents.
What you'll do
  • Researches, creates and distributes reports, including HPIA, Dims First and Training needs/updates.
  • Provides technical support to assigned teams by researching and/or troubleshooting issues related to processing, system, and software applications.
  • Serves as a resource for customers by researching complex systems issues and determining appropriate course of action. Escalate issues or concerns to ensure desired results.
  • Provides consistent feedback, spot and team training for associates by communicating technical process improvements that positively impact team success.
  • Provide back-up and peak-load assistance for other training and audit areas as needed; complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Represents department on cross-functional teams and meets with external customers as required.
  • Provides effective development and delivery of new training material for in-team and classroom instruction, through partnership with the training and quality coaching teams, to outline and implement improvements.
  • Conducts system performance audits to ensure transaction compliance, accuracy and timeliness. Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements.
  • Serves as a liaison with other departments for system, or procedure changes that require technical user analysis and testing; including input and support for business requirements and data base development
What you'll bring
  • College level coursework, preferred.
  • FEP experience, preferred.
  • Two years of customer service, claims, or membership & billing experience; including one year of direct technical experience in a call center, healthcare or insurance environment, required.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
National Salary Range:
$48,500.00 - $72,700.00
National Plus Salary Range:
$54,800.00 - $82,200.00
  • National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
