In this job, you will review and analyze applications, invoices, and supporting documents such as manufacturer specification sheets and contractor submittals to ensure program eligibility and incentives for Integrated Demand Side Management (IDSM) Energy Efficiency programs for our commercial customers including industrial, agricultural, and government & institutional. You will handle multiple and complex projects for multiple programs under IDSM.

• Work cross functionally with internal business partners including Customer Programs & Services and Business Customer Division for customer relationship, program alignment, and escalated issues.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to projects while working within the defined policies and procedures.
• Reviews applications, invoices, equipment (i.e. lighting, refrigeration, or food service equipment), and specifications to validate if a project meets program eligibility.
• Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
• Prepares detailed site inspections for projects and reviews inspection results for program compliance.
• Reviews loan applications to validate qualification for On-Bill Finance program.
• Responsible for processing and tracking applications in pipeline stages, on time, and within Service Level Agreements.
• Reviews supporting documents for completeness and program eligibility and ensures supporting documents are in compliance with program policies and procedures in order to determine incentive amounts and approvals.

The essentials

• Three (3) or more years’ experience supporting technical programs, such as reviewing applications and processing applications for eligibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, i.e., Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.

The preferred

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Business or related field.
• Ability to resolve problems, questions, or situations in compliance with defined procedures.
• Experience working in iEnergy, SAP or similar systems.
• Experience with Energy Efficiency programs in IDSM.
• Self –managed and works well individually and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
• Ability to prioritize work including monitoring of multiple streams of work and special assignments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication (oral/written), and results-oriented skills.

• The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
