- Contribute to the development of products, training sessions, and asynchronous modules for states, districts, and educators on strengthening and diversifying the educator workforce or other educator quality topics in collaboration with content experts.
- Prepare, coordinate and co-lead presentations at national convenings designed for states and districts and serve as a co-facilitator in conferences and collaboratives.
- Communicate effectively with external clients in leadership roles across federal, state, and local settings.
- Review, analyze, and synthesize information, qualitative data and/or survey results using appropriate practices and techniques.
- Develop and administer online surveys, and create tables, charts, and other data visualizations.
- Identify and synthesize research on evidence-based practices for strengthening and diversifying the educator workforce, culturally responsive practices, and other issues of educator quality.
- Contribute to business development pursuits such as writing proposals.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience or a Master’s degree in education, public policy or a related field (e.g., psychology, educational policy)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience or experience within an organization supporting technical assistance projects (e.g., coordinating large streams of work, collecting, and analyzing data, developing resources)
- Knowledge of federal and state landscape for education policy and practice on strengthening and diversifying the educator workforce, educator recruitment and retention, or related topics in educator development and preparation
- Knowledge and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and culturally responsive practices
- Experience working in or with schools, agencies, or organizations serving diverse and disadvantaged communities
Skills:
- Experience developing, administering, and analyzing online surveys preferred but not required
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate with external clients in leadership roles (e.g., U.S. Dept of Education staff, state agency staff, etc.)
- Experience leading virtual meetings, including breakout sessions, polling, and other software for user engagement
- Ability to translate research into practice for diverse audiences in both virtual and in-person settings
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SurveyMonkey, and NVivo preferred but not required

AIR’s Total Rewards Program, is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $60,000- $75,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
