Job Description

WHO'S IN THE KITCHEN
The Manager, Talent & Culture will report to the Sr. Director, Talent Management and be responsible for setting up Blue Apron’s Talent Development agenda including the design and delivery of learning programs in the areas of leadership development, core skills training, and more. The role will also be accountable for helping to establish and deliver key talent development processes including talent and succession planning, performance management and development, etc.
And because we believe in building a learning culture, this role will also be accountable for planning and executing on events to ensure we drive development and engagement at every opportunity including facilitating leadership meetings and company town hall events.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU
  • Support the design of and manage the key processes related to performance management and development cycle as well as talent & succession planning
  • Create the framework and lead the design and delivery of Blue Apron’s suite of learning and development programs including leadership, core skills, and compliance related training using both third party and in house designed training programs
  • Plan, execute and facilitate key leadership and company events to drive development, learning and engagement
  • Manage LMS and create and manage KPIs ad success metrics
  • Deliver key training sessions when needed

NECESSARY INGREDIENTS
  • Expert facilitation skills
  • Experience in instructional design and/or creating learning and development programs, leadership development, change management and organizational development initiatives
  • Demonstrated business acumen: intellectually curious about organizational systems and structures, business strategies, and informed about emerging industry trends.
  • Analytically sound with experience creating a framework for assessing, measuring and tracking L&D programming success
  • Technologically astute with experience with HRIS systems and integration of systems to support the business
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Experience delivering training as well as facilitating audiences of varying sizes towards driving outcomes
  • Strong expertise in change management and experience in revamping and/or creating processes such as talent reviews, succession planning and performance management.
  • 5-7 of Learning and/or Organizational Development
  • Experience managing LMS systems. Dayforce is a plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels.
  • Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive, proactive and self-directed approach
  • Verifiable track record of success partnering with management, serving as a credible and trusted resource.
  • Experience using authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or similar
