Turning Point is an Executive Recruiting firm, partnering with our client in their search for a Director of Talent Development & Culture position. *note-this position is remote based but would prefer someone that is in CST or EST. There is also a 20% travel requirement for the position.*
As the Director of Talent Development & Culture, you will significantly impact our client's organization by contributing to the establishment and execution of key initiatives focused on talent development, engagement, and fostering a values-driven culture. This position requires leadership in talent review/succession planning, employee engagement surveys, and collaboration with the talent development team to nurture talent at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire employee experience, including onboarding, engagement, career management, and offboarding.
- Assist in implementing talent development strategies that support our talent goals, with a focus on developing internal talent.
- Provide support and guidance for training and development initiatives aimed at closing employee skill gaps.
- Establish transparent career paths to provide growth opportunities for employees and offer guidance on career development in collaboration with the talent team.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, company values programs, and employee recognition.
Essential Skills:
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, actively identifying and resolving potential issues to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Excellent facilitation skills, comfortable conducting sessions for small and large groups, including senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and tactical leadership in developing and managing complex employee development and learning programs.
- Ability to assess skill requirements and develop solutions to address skill gaps within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience as an HR Generalist, Talent Development, or Training & Development professional.
- Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams in a time-sensitive environment to implement new practices, programs, and procedures.
Our client offers a competitive benefits and compensation package, the salary target is within 120-130K with a 15% bonus opportunity.
