About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Global Learning & Culture Manager to join our team in NY. This role will suit a learning professional who loves to be closely connected to the business to drive change and enable the business strategy. Someone who can work independently and who takes a practical and pragmatic approach to learning design and operationalizing that experience to a global audience. Building strong working relationships with business stakeholders will be critical to being able to successfully deliver in this role. The role would appeal to a generalist learning professional as it offers variety and stretch across content areas, from hospitality and customer experience, to Culture, to Manager Development, and across learning skills from scoping to design to delivery.
In This Role, You’ll
  • Continuously improve and enhance learning portfolio based on feedback, numbers of learners or changing needs of the business.
  • Identify ways to share best practice designs across the team, take the lead on team upskills.
  • Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders and when needed, challenge and push back to strengthen the impact of initiatives.
  • Experience building learning programs with sustainment strategies in place
  • Lead the curation and creation of WeWork specific on-demand learning resources.
  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders and learners to understand and scope their learning needs, respond to feedback on current offerings and socialize future initiatives for buy-in and adoption.
  • Program manage multiple learning initiatives (and the project team, including external vendors).
  • Ensure continuity and alignment of all learning experiences and communications (i.e.; Corporate values, branding, leadership concepts/models, business strategies, etc.)
  • Partner with internal teams, like People Systems and Internal Communications, to influence and guide the operationalization of learning programs.
  • Facilitate live learning experiences on topics such as Culture, Manager Development, Hospitality, Onboarding
  • Coach and empower project team members to grow and develop as learning professionals.
  • Partner with external vendors and providers to build high quality learning materials and programming.
  • Tailor and elevate current learning initiatives/materials to meet the needs of different audiences, levels and context.
  • Identify innovations within the learning space that we can harness to elevate our offering to reach and engage with our global learners.
  • Lead the evaluation or measurement of learning initiatives to ensure business impact.
  • Lead the operationalization of learning content for a global audience.
  • Partner with SMEs to build learning content and strategy that enable the business and drive change. A big focus for 2023 will be around hospitality, systems and operations.
  • Pilot learning initiatives to test content and gather feedback.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
  • Experience of partnering with Director level+ stakeholders in business functions
  • Ideally having a background in Hospitality
  • 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development
  • Ideally having experience of business enablement/change management projects
  • Experience of working at a global, multi-site organization
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000
Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including 20 days of PTO, approximately 10 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, 401K plan, Life & AD&D insurance.
