Sr. Manager/Director Of E-Commerce

The Senior Manager / Director of E-Commerce will be a key partner to lead Amazon growth and profitability of this North American focused E-Commerce business. The role inspires a passion for E-Commerce throughout the organization and creates a winning E-Commerce environment, driving growth and innovation. The position will work closely to support marketing and the marketing strategy, along with IT, Customer Service, and the entire Leadership Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demand Planning for E-commerce and B&M.
• Responsible for Amazon’s Profit & Loss output and analysis, develop and operationalize margin improvement plans, and manage Amazon FBA fees to ensure smooth and efficient operations related to inventory management order fulfillment and returns.
• The role also involves challenging procurement and distribution lead times and manufacturing efficiencies, as well as being the face of Supply Chain in crossfunctional E-Commerce leadership space.
• Understand external landscape and direction of E-Commerce customers to maximize supply chain efficiencies while partnering internally to ensure supply.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish priorities for development projects and ensure timely execution.
• Conduct regular competitive and category analysis to identify market trends, white space, and brand gaps with ability to develop margin accretive innovation.
• Monitor inventory levels across all sales channels and coordinate with the company's marketing Amazon account manager, supply chain teams and contract manufacturers to maintain on-time, optimal stock levels.
• Any additional cross-functional partners to establish priorities and mortar business support as assigned by the VP of Supply Chain.
• Create new growth and innovation platforms.
• As the functional lead for E-Commerce supply chain strategy, you will be responsible for developing, innovating, and driving new thought process in the E-Commerce space and spearheading cross-functional engagement to deliver current objectives and navigate challenges.
• 3PL setup and management in US & Canada, inclusive of kitting/bundling capabilities.
• Influence Supply Chain process, resource, and structure to ensure the function can support E-Commerce strategy.
• Advise the business on the best strategies and options to select, implement, and execute to achieve their E-Commerce goals.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, & SKILLS

• Experience leading Supply Chain across DTC and Amazon, preferably in the US and Canada.
• Managing 3PL experience and network.
• Experience managing logistics, cost, supply chain, operations of eCommerce business; DTC experience a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in eCommerce, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods or retail.
• Demonstrated ability to build a strong supply chain/operations process.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven analytical and strategic capabilities, with the ability to translate data into insights and inform product ideas and brand opportunities.
• Experience in implementing new product launches and the integration of new business models.
• Knowledge of emerging trends, mobile, social media, artificial intelligence, subscription selling, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
