Position Summary
As our Social Media Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our social media strategy, connecting our school, programs, and units with the world. Reporting to the Director of Global Media Strategy, you'll collaborate closely with our talented MarCom team, faculty, staff, and students to elevate the prominence of UNC Kenan-Flagler and support our strategic initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and execute a cutting-edge social media strategy to enhance the reputation of UNC Kenan-Flagler and boost our visibility.
Utilize various web-based and mobile platforms to engage our community, closely monitoring and responding to their interests and needs.
Employ your creative flair to create captivating written and visual content for our social media channels.
Demonstrate your excellent communication skills in building and maintaining positive relationships with our online audience.
Be the online voice of the school, representing us 24/7 with minimal oversight.
Embrace the rapidly evolving digital communications landscape, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
Required Qualifications

Proven experience in managing social media channels and crafting engaging content.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in social media, communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing.
