Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Operations to lead and elevate our hotel operations across various categories, including full service, select service, and extended stay properties. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and exceptional service standards. The Senior Vice President of Operations will oversee a team of Regional Vice Presidents and General Managers, guiding them to uphold our brand's values and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence within our hotels. You'll work closely with our Regional Vice Presidents and General Managers to ensure consistency, quality, and effective operations. Your responsibilities will encompass long-term planning, problem-solving, mentoring new General Managers, and overseeing strategic projects under the guidance of our Chief Operations Officer.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction: Lead Regional Vice Presidents to ensure uniformity and excellence across our hotel portfolio.
Asset Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments to safeguard the owners' investments and uphold brand standards.
Long-Range Planning: Drive the implementation of long-term plans across all hotels and teams.
Financial and Performance Analysis: Analyze financial and guest satisfaction data to identify trends and implement corrective measures.
Training and Development: Mentor new Regional Vice Presidents and General Managers, promoting growth and preparation for advancement.
Capital Expenditure: Collaborate with management teams to develop and execute capital expenditure plans.
Associate Relations: Foster a positive work environment, ensuring adherence to company policies and consistent disciplinary practices.
Reporting and Decision Support: Prepare insightful reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Problem Solving: Address operational challenges with effective solutions and support.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who embody seasoned leadership in the hospitality sector, boasting a minimum of 3 years experience as a Regional VP of Operations along with prior General Manager roles. The ability to oversee various types of hotels (full service, select service, and extended stay) is essential. A strategic mindset, strong decision-making skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued. Exceptional interpersonal and team-building abilities are a must as you guide our teams toward success.
