About the Role
Sugardoh is a fast growing direct-to-consumer eCommerce brand and is expanding into retail quickly. And we’re looking for a highly talented, creative, and dedicated Social Media Account Growth Specialist - someone who’s trend-savvy, has a deep interest in pop culture, and the ability to experiment with innovative social strategies.
This individual will be primarily responsible for managing and growing our social media presence on various platforms, creating engaging content, launching campaigns, partnering with brands, and more. This role provides an opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's growth while working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Account Growth: Develop and implement strategies to grow followers and engagement on our social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and others. Constantly review and adjust strategies based on analytics and trends.
- Content Creation & Management: Manage content creators while also having the ability to create and edit engaging content. Should be able to brainstorm and create their own content ideas independently and proactively.
- Social Media Campaigns & Partnerships: Initiate social media campaigns that drive engagement and sales, and develop partnerships with other like minded brands to expand our reach.
- Content Calendar Management: Plan, develop, and manage a comprehensive content calendar for all our social media platforms. Ensure consistent posting and engagement across all platforms.
- Trends & Experimentation: Stay ahead of social media trends, pop culture events, and emerging platforms. Be willing to experiment with new ideas and strategies to keep the brand relevant and engaging.
Requirements
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Capacity to think strategically about growth while also being able to act tactically and manage the daily operations of our social media accounts.
- Experience with analyzing performance/engagement metrics on social media platforms and using them to make content decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging content, manage content creators, and grow followers and engagement.
- Proven experience growing TikTok and Instagram accounts, ideally for a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand in the beauty and wellness space.
- Always staying updated on pop culture trends, and leveraging them to create timely and relatable content.
- Strong command over social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, and other platforms, with a clear understanding of their algorithms and trends.
- Knowledge and command of video editing tools and software.
- Experience executing successful social media campaigns and partnerships with other brands.
- Bonus: You have grown your own YouTube channel or TikTok/Instagram account
- The ability to operate autonomously and take initiative in ideating and executing content ideas, while also being able to collaborate effectively with the founder and the broader team.
