Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Media and WordPress Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media, have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful social media campaigns, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. In addition, the candidate should have experience with WordPress website management and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update company WordPress website, including creating new pages and blog posts, updating plugins and themes, and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Ensure website content is up-to-date and SEO-friendly.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the company's marketing goals.
  • Monitor website analytics and use data to inform and improve website performance.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that support overall marketing objectives.
  • Create and publish engaging content on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Analyze social media metrics and use data to inform and improve social media strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
  • Work with the web development team to implement new website features and functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Experience with WordPress website management and development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
