Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions! We are partnering with our boutique agency client to recruit a Social Media Specialist to join their team on a part-time, contract basis, fully remotely. You will be responsible for supporting social media strategy for current clients, with most of the work in this role focused on writing, editing and optimizing content and creative for social channels, and maintaining consistent knowledge of measurable data and KPIs for clients. Because this role is in an agency setting, client services and the ability to provide data insights and context for suggestions and decisions is crucial. Additional experience with social media ads is a big plus! We're looking for 2+ years of dedicated social media experience in the B2C world with experience in consumer products, and preference for those with cannabis or CPG experience.
This is a great opportunity for a current freelancer looking for an additional client where you might find a long-term fit, or for someone looking for some initial flexibility! Ultimately, this team is hoping to hire a part-time contractor who is interested in evolving into a full-time, permanent position with the organization down the line. During the contract period, this role will start at an average of 10 hours per week, and will be fully remote, so we are open to candidates anywhere in the US. Pay ranges between $25 and $28 an hour, and this will be a W2 opportunity through LHH.
You will:
- Use Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools to create or edit assets for social campaigns
- Aid in the growth of the agency's social media function, working with current and prospective B2C clients to implement social media strategy
- Write, edit and optimize social media content across all relevant channels
- Leverage social media campaign and account data to inform and contextualize strategic decisions to clients, working closely with cross-functional account teams
Your profile should include:
- 2+ years of social media experience focused in the B2C space
- Agency experience, preferred; Experience working in the cannabis space, highly preferred
- Experience writing, editing and optimizing social media content for a consumer audience, leveraging tools like Hootsuite or Sprout
- Light design experience working in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create social assets
- Portfolio of relevant work
