M2 Strategy is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Specialist to join our growing firm and support our government clients, commercial clients, and leadership. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day social media tasks, maintain metrics, and provide regular productivity reports
• Create content that will be posted to various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter)
• Leverage writing skills and knowledge of social media best practices to ensure all content posted aligns with client goals
• Utilize social media analytics and planning tools to provide key insights and recommendations for enhanced social media presence

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Superb oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of web operations, including design, development, debugging, publishing, and analytics
• Exceptional skills in writing, grammar, and syntax
• Ability to write engaging content for multiple audiences
• Understands basic web design principles and can provide quality feedback to improve designs

Operating Status:

M2 eligible employees are currently authorized to work remotely but will be moving towards a hybrid plan this year, which will require working both in the office and remotely. All vaccinated M2 employees who wish to work from the office can do so. M2 Strategy policies on masks and other pandemic mitigation measures will continue to be informed by DC and CDC guidelines.
