Job Description

Role Description:

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and self-driven Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated social media and content marketing campaigns from concept to execution. This role places a heavy emphasis on community management and content creation.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Community Management

  • Develop and execute initiatives to engage the community and encourage user-generated content for a more vibrant online community.
  • Regularly interact with followers and potential customers, ensuring excellent community engagement and customer service.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and industry.
  • Build, grow, and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including but not limited to Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and relevant industry-specific platforms.

2. Content Creation

  • Keep up-to-date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling content ideas and to ensure brand consistency.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast) on social media platforms.
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Develop a content strategy and editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.


Requirements:

  • Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience with social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all major social media platforms and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven success with creating engaging content on various social media platforms.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva or similar creative tools.


Preferred:

  • Familiarity with SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
  • Experience in growing social media accounts in the SaaS space
  • Have an interest in AI
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels.
  • Ability to capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then act on the information.
