Responsibilities

  • Understand financial statement reporting, general ledger and other statistical data to for cost report preparation.
  • Help clients with cost report audits, allowable cost reporting, new program exploration, and bad debt recovery.
  • Review of Skilled Nursing, Home Health, and Hospice cost reports.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Manage cost report production and margins to meet production goals.
  • Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement optimization consulting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred not required.
  • Proven analytical, research, organization, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoys problem solving.
  • Ability to work within budgeting and deadline constraints.
  • Experience in client relationship development with the ability to maintain relationships by providing optimum client service.
  • Enjoys working in a team setting.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • 5-10+ years’ experience with cost reports and healthcare reimbursement.

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $80,000 to $140,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
