About the Opportunity:
As a member of the Revenue Management Team at Ellucian, the Sr Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for delivering assigned sales quotas, creating alignment of the new logo acquisition team with the organization’s growth strategies, and developing a results-driven Inside Sales team that is passionately committed to achievement.
Where you will make an impact
- Balancing short-term goal achievement and success with long-term growth strategies to expand the Ellucian presence within the territory.
- Reinforcing overall accountability to top-line growth for the organization, while shaping the focus to continue to drive toward longer-term goal attainment.
- Creating and managing processes to optimize coordination within the sales team, and across other Ellucian functions.
- Building relationships within the Higher-Ed marketv by attending on-site meetings, industry trade shows, and ed-tech conferences.
- Supporting the team in bringing opportunities to successful closure by engaging in validation planning and contract negotiations, when appropriate.
- Keeping abreast of competition, market dynamics, and industry dynamics.
- Manage Ellucian Partner relationships to drive top of funnel and new sales.
- Leading a sales team of 10-15 ISRs to increase revenue growth through acquisition of new accounts and cross-sell of all Ellucian Ancillary products. that subscribe.
- Building accountability and urgency across teams by setting appropriate performance metrics that drive desired behaviors and results.
- Report to the VP, Specialty Sales
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to drive growth within their accounts.
What you will bring
- Have a demonstrated track record of building exceptional teams.
- Be known as a leader who drives trust and values authenticity, while driving urgency and results.
- 3-5 years of successful Inside Sales leadership, preferably in a SaaS business.
- Possess significant career history with 3-5 years in leading sales teams to success and goal attainment.
- Be analytical and have expertise in SaaS metrics.
- 3-5 years experience in EdTech/Higher Education.
