The salary range for this role, based in New York is $130,200 to $162,700, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The National Planning & Performance Senior Manager plays a critical role in our mission to drive the success of our complete portfolio across our entire customer base and the implementation and execution of PRUSA’s commercial strategy. This role requires a broad range of managerial skills: strategy, analytics, leadership, storytelling, and execution. The successful candidate will have experience building and leading world-class strategic plans, roadmaps, and business cases, managing data-driven business projects, as well as have extremely strong prioritization, time management, communication, and presentation skills. This role is best suited for high potential, motivated individuals seeking to gain broad exposure to the company and to executive leadership.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Build & manage national commercial projects end-to-end from initial ideation phase through completion
- Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo, advise senior executives and collaborate with other departments
- Collaborate with our Data Automation team to drive data modeling initiatives, including PowerBI Dashboards, integrating CRM and VIP Daily Depletions info, by identifying current and future use cases / needs for the commercial organization
- Lead results-oriented alignment & performance meetings to executive leadership demonstrating achievements and progress against relevant timelines and key milestones
- Experience working with PowerBI Dashboards
- Ability to be a critical thinker to problem solve & implement strategy by working with key stakeholders across the organization
- Steer initiatives to embed strategic data focus within commercial organization

- Proficient in building PowerPoint decks that tell a story
- Act as the subject matter expert on syndicated and internal data resources and their uses as well as a champion of business intelligence in the organization
- Build financial models, P&L and ROI templates in Excel
- Serve as subject matter expert for engagements in the areas of commercial acumen & strategy, strategic projects & reporting, CRM capabilities & reporting
- Own project analytics, applying logical and creative thinking to drive to fact-based insights from large datasets
- Analytical Excellence – 30%
- Design and develop innovative strategic frameworks for various initiatives that drive commercial/operational effectiveness and data-driven decision making
Nature & Scope
Reporting to the Director, National Planning & Performance Management the role will need understanding of market dynamics, subchannels, customers, distributors, and market-specific legal requirements; Exceptional cross-organization consensus-building skills with the ability to gain buy-in and universal alignment; & Management-level communication, negotiation, and reporting skills; can communicate effectively and influentially with executives in customer / Distributor meetings.
Requirements:
Education
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance, Strategy or Economics; MBA preferred
Experience / Background
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
- Extensive experience with business systems (Essbase, JDE, PowerBI, Tableau, VIP Depletions).
- 7+ years of work experience, preferably with 3-4 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis or strategy, and/or management consulting. Previous commercial/distributor experience is an asset.
- Strong leader who motivates peers and field teams to support and facilitate change
- Exposure to the consumer goods and/or beverage industry preferred
- Strong analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and can build financial models in Excel
- Travel: This position may travel up to 10% of the time.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability in developing materials and effectively presenting information
