Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our US B2B sales team, Virgin Incentives, the business sales department of Virgin Experience Days.


The B2B team brings extraordinary incentives to the corporate world, showcasing the very best of what the Virgin family has to offer through employee rewards and recognition. We own this revenue stream and drive growth by providing clients with outstanding service, a tireless work ethic and a commitment to welcoming new businesses on board in the best possible way.

The US B2B sales function has shown amazing growth over the past two years and our ambition is to drive this to even higher levels!


With the whole of the US to target, the sky's the limit for B2B sales in the States.


This role will play a key part in the development of the US business, building on existing accounts and bringing in new business. The ideal candidate will have experience in the reward and recognition sector and a strong network of key HR and Reward professionals.


This is a fully remote role, with the preferred candidate based in either California, Florida or New York, USA.


We need you to help us:


  • Build our commercial network across the US
  • Raise the brand awareness of Virgin Incentives across the US
  • Support existing sales people within the business
  • Deliver profitable business operating within the parameters of the Virgin Incentives commercial model
  • Drive sales above and beyond our yearly targets



Responsibilities


  • Delivery of new customers across the US, with a focus on specific regions
  • Be a valuable part of a well-established global team
  • Hit agreed KPIs with regards to targets including sales activity, new business and growing existing customers
  • Management of existing clients



What you’ll need:


  • Strong telesales background
  • The ability to respond well to challenging targets
  • Be a team player - with a small team in the US it is essential that you are willing to get involved at all levels
  • Network of HR and/or Marketing contacts
  • Self-motivation to hit the ground running
  • Experience of CRM systems ideally Dynamics
  • The ability to build relationships quickly, effectively and for the long term
  • Recent experience working within a sales based role, within the reward and recognition sector
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the company's product offering
  • Confidence and the ability to travel to conferences and events, representing the Virgin Incentives brand on occasion (this will be pre-planned)
