Job Description

SUMMARY: National Accounts Manager will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. You will also supervise and support regional managers to increase sales and profitability. As a National account manager, you should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics. We also expect you to have good negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers. Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective and honest service to the customer, maintain high customer satisfaction ratings per company standards
  • Serve as the liaison between customers and internal K Pack teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met while serving as a partner with production management
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and provide valuable and realistic suggestions for improvement and increased sale opportunities.
  • Gain and maintain a strong understanding of the stretch film and plastics industry, staying current with industry product and sales trends as well as external factors that will impact sales efforts
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers, establish and cultivate productive professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers in assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate profitable sales
  • Collect and analyze customer and industry sales data and trends
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; with ability to communicate with C-Suite leadership
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • High level attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • The ability to adapt to fast paced; rapid changes. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and handle unexpected delays or events while maintaining constant attention to detail
  • Five or more years of demonstrated successful experience in national accounts sales
  • Sales experience in the stretch film or plastics industry
  • Experience collaborating with a high-performance sales team
  • Available to travel within all regions of the US as needed; requires air travel and driving travel
  • Proven work experience in successfully identifying and securing large, corporate national accounts
  • Well organized, ability to prioritize and self-motivated
