Job Summary

Our Introba team is seeking a Senior Building Performance Analyst

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously within budget and schedule
• Apply knowledge of thermal comfort criteria and multitude of standards for feedback and analysis
• Responsible for proposal and project fee development
• Provide thorough guidance and quality control for complex analysis and building performance modeling
• Prepare and present analysis, reports, and other documents for internal and/or external client use
• Manage client relationships
• Outline, develop, and author reports and presentations
• Provide mentoring and coaching to junior staff
• Provide project resourcing and financial planning to successfully execute projects for the team
• Responsible and accountable for completing assigned projects with required level of quality, on schedule and on budget independently with minimal guidance from the Team Leader or Project Manager
• Delegate modeling and analysis tasks to junior staff, as required

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a consulting environment
• Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• University degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
• LEED AP, BEMP, or CEMP are preferred
• Excellent presentation skills; capable of story-boarding complex issues into digestible presentations for a variety of audiences, particularly high-level client audiences
• Minimum 3 years experience with whole building energy modelling, preferably using IES-VE, OpenStudio, or EnergyPlus
• Experience with daylight modeling, renewable energy analysis, and net zero energy design
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and modeling skills
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Master's Degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building systems engineering, building physics, thermodynamics and advanced building energy analysis
