Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager

• You enable and create a social license to operate Climeworks DAC+S projects and develop a community engagement strategy for the selected sites.
• You work with various internal and external partners to create an integrated approach to major projects communication and public affairs initiatives.
• You lead the development and implementation of multiple strategic communication initiatives, to support the successful execution of Climeworks projects.
• You analyze opportunities for enhanced and inclusive communication with partners, communities, and policymakers to advance Climeworks scale up roadmap.
• You lead the development of our permitting strategy, coordinate project specific regulatory roadmaps, and lead the integration of non-technical risks into project development plans.
• Your mission at Climeworks is to enable Climeworks’ Roadmap by engaging all relevant stakeholders for Climeworks DAC+S projects in the US.

Requirements

• You are living in California, New York, Washington DC, Texas, Missouri, North Carolina, Louisiana, Colorado or are willing to relocate there for this position.
• You completed a bachelor's degree in engineering, liberal arts, or political science.
• You actively collaborate, empower others, and serve as a role model by encouraging idea generation and accountability within the team.
• You are a dynamic and committed team player who excels at making decisions and building high-performing teams, cultivating the right culture to achieve desired results.
• You are willing to travel up to 60%.
• You demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills in a diverse international setting and are able to diplomatically translate complex technical content for skeptical audiences.
• You also gained experience in navigating non-routine regulatory processes, including public hearings, and managing significant and complex non-technical risks.
• You have at least 10 years of experience in strategic project communications as well as in stakeholder and community engagement for large scale industrial projects, ideally in the field of CCS (Process design & field).

The salary range has been set by factors such as function, career level, and location and therefore may vary. The US base salary for this full-time position is typically $125,000-$165,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We use the recruitment process to determine your career level, job-related skills, and depth of experience to make an informed and fair salary offer.
