Rev is hiring for a key marketing leadership position, to manage the growth function to drive web revenue and lead the expansion of subscription offering. Our challenge to this hire is to improve full funnel metrics from traffic, to activation, adoption, and life-time value. You have a talented team, ready to develop and execute rapid tests to improve these metrics, and the empowerment to autonomously lead us to growth.


This job should appeal to someone who gets energy from ownership and autonomy, designing their own path to success, and branching off in new directions without ego when early tests fail. They are comfortable with regular executive engagement, and presenting our results on a regular basis. This person is analytical and data driven, comfortable with SQL and Looker to analyze data, and has a strong focus on product and user experience.


This role reports to our Chief Marketing Officer.


As a Senior Director, Growth Marketing at Rev, you will


  • Strong Communicator: Prepare and present recommendations, reports, and findings from experimental data all the way up to the executive level.
  • Process: Develop hypothesis-driven experiment roadmaps to unlock new strategies and channels.
  • Research: analyze our current acquisition and retention strategies, research competitors and talk to our customers to help inform your strategy.
  • Strategic: build and communicate a comprehensive growth marketing plan to help the business achieve its revenue goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: work with a variety of stakeholders across sales, finance, marketing, engineering, and product to make sure plans and projects are communicated accordingly.
  • People Management: Manage the growth marketing team, with responsibilities including user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
  • Test Focused: Generate data-drive hypotheses, create forecasts, and run A/B tests to validate and scale growth programs

  • 7+ years of growth marketing experience at B2C technology companies
  • Experience with freemium SAAS business models
  • Expertise in paid (search, social, video/audio) marketing and organic/earned media, mobile demand generation campaigns, website strategy and optimization, multichannel engagement and content distribution (online/offline events, web, social)
  • 5+ years of management experience developing and mentoring direct reports
  • Customer focus, with a deep understanding of the product offering
  • Strong analytic skills and experience reporting on full funnel metrics
  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product, and data teams
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, clear and intuitive language
  • Growth mindset, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement
