Job Description
Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Engagement Marketing to lead Netspend marketing team’s customer engagement, retention, and loyalty programs. As the Senior Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative engagement strategies across multiple channels and touchpoints to maximize customer lifetime value and overall business growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to align engagement initiatives with overall business objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Testing and Optimization: Implement A/B testing and experimentation methodologies to continuously improve engagement strategies, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
  • Channel Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of engagement channels such as email, social media, mobile, website, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive engagement marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals, vision, and brand identity to dive key KPIs.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing engagement marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data and analytics to measure, analyze, and optimize engagement marketing initiatives, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and making data-driven decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product, acquisition, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints and identify opportunities for engagement optimization.
  • Customer Lifecycle Management: Design and implement customer journey mapping, segmentation strategies, and personalized communication plans to optimize engagement at each stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies that drive customer engagement and brand advocacy.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the engagement marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes.


Requirements:


  • Experience in working with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize engagement marketing initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of engagement marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in engagement marketing, customer lifecycle management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful customer engagement and retention strategies across multiple channels and touchpoints.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth through customer engagement and retention strategies.
