Job Description
The Sr. Director, Growth Marketing will be responsible for leading a team of performance, brand media, and lifecycle marketers who support Favor customers, Runners (that’s what we call our delivery drivers) and restaurant partners. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-moving dynamic marketplace by spearheading growth initiatives and driving improvements across the organization.
We are looking for a strategic leader to mentor and motivate a marketing team to solve complex problems. Additionally, we need someone who can bring innovative growth initiatives to life through analysis, experimentation, and new technologies and tools.
What You'll Do
  • Partner across marketing functions (marketing operations, product marketing, brand, creative, field marketing) as well as other departments (product engineering and support) to drive outstanding user experiences and improve our marketing reach and efficiency
  • Lead a team of growth marketers and build out high-velocity growth marketing functions by being hands-on with execution while coaching the team to optimize and maximize efficiency
  • Define and own key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking performance metrics on a daily and weekly basis and iterating quickly to optimize, proactively detect roadblocks, and course-correct as needed
  • Oversee the refinement of media mix and marketing attribution models to optimize resource allocation and drive growth
  • Work with the broader Marketing team to define growth plans, channel mix, and analyze data and analytics to impact growth goals across customers, Runners, and restaurant partners
  • Lead the strategy for executing data-driven, integrated campaigns to reach our target audiences in alignment with strategic market moments
  • Design and lead the implementation of a growth strategy by using paid and owned media channels to grow new user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention in a scalable and efficient way
  • Support an agile marketing process by leading rapid experimentation of new channels, campaigns, creative, incentives, and approaches for the purpose of building scalable solutions
  • Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of all demand-generating marketing channels
Skills You Have
  • Strong marketing instincts and a proven track record of shaping and executing user growth strategies
  • The ability to synthesize, analyze, and interpret data (including KPI reports) and transfer the information into actionable steps
  • Experience in brand media and the ability to lead large brand media buys is highly preferred
  • The proven ability to build and execute growth strategies for both hyper-growth and scaled companies (consumer tech or tech-enabled consumer company experience is required)
  • A deep analytics background and a high degree of proficiency with rigorous data tools and data-driven decision making
  • A proven track record of performance optimization and experience leading large, cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of marketing technology, mobile measurement partners, data management platforms, and media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Google, etc.)
  • 10+ years of performance marketing and/or acquisition marketing experience, both in B2C and B2B functions and while managing a large budget
